Other Worlds Series #2 (20"x24"x1.5" Mixed Media on canvas)

This new series of 3 paintings was inspired by the beautiful and elegant "Angel of the Resurrection" statue, by the Italian sculptor Giulio Monteverde in 1882.

This is an original mixed media painting on a 20"x24"x1.5" deep edge, gallery wrapped canvas. The base layer was created in spray paint and acrylic paints, then painted over with oil paints and glazes. I feel that this really brings out a richness and depth to the colours.

This painting comes varnished and with wiring on the back, ready to hang straight out of the box.

All materials used are of a professional, archival quality to stand the test of time.
