Original Custom Skateboard - Onwards !!

Custom painted skateboard deck with a design adapted from one of my recent paintings. I started this piece with a charcoal under layer. Then I added acrylic paint, acrylic markers and pray paint over the top. Once this dried I then added a layer of varnish. This gives a nice glossy finish, provides a protective layer and even offers UV protection.

This piece is intended to hang on the wall as wall art. However, the skateboard is skate-able if you so wish. The deck is 31x8 inches and is constructed of 7 ply maple.
